Modern Collar

Inspired by historical Egyptian Collar Necklaces, I used glass seed and teardrop beads to create my own version of a collar with bright and vibrant colors. I employed the peyote stitch to make the base of the collar, added a netted bottom row with tiny glass teardrops then top embellished some rows with bead embroidery to add texture and depth. This collar is finished with a 925-sterling silver hook clasp for ease. It has a luxurious weight and drape making it a showstopper.
